The Certificate in General Studies
The Downtown Centre has co-ordinated the Certificate in General Studies, an access programme to higher education for the past five years. Due to financial constraints, this certificate programme will not be available in 2012.

The Downtown Centre Guidance Service aims to connect adult learners (aged 18+) with third level learning opportunities in the Shannon region and further afield.
The workshops will introduce you to some of the skills which are required to cope effectively at third level. Session are interactive and enjoyable.
