The Certficate in General Studies

Due to funding constraints, the Certificate in General Studies programme will not be offered in September 2012.

Two of our third-level partners will be offering access programmes for mature students (aged 22 or above on 1 January 2012) commencing in September 2012:

September 2011 - News from the Downtown Centre: This year 36 students have enrolled for the Certificate in General Studies, 23 in the Humanities option and 13 in Science. We wish them a happy and successful year of study.

A new online only student grant application system is being introduced for the 2012/2013 academic year. All NEW applications will be made online to a single grant awarding authority, SUSI, (Student Universal Support System Ireland), a unit of Dublin City VEC, through www.studentfinance.ieThe details of the 2012/2013 student grant scheme are due to be announced in May and the SUSI online application system will be available from that date.
