The Downtown Centre represents four higher education partners in the South-West
of Ireland University of Limerick Institute of Technology Tralee Institute of Technology Limerick
Mary Immaculate College.
Its aim is to provide services and activities designed to encourage and support adult learners to consider and evaluate their higher education learning options and goals.
The Downtown Centre aims to develop programmes and courses which will create new routes into higher education for adult learners. The first programme offered by the Downtown Centre, is a Certificate in General Studies. read more
An educational guidance service is available at the Downtown Centre which offers information, advice and guidance on higher education learning opportunities to adults, who have not had the opportunity to date to either undertake or to complete an undergraduate
