The Certificate in General Studies is now enrolling for its September 2010 intake. This is a preparatory programme for third-level studies, open to adults over the age of 18. On successful completion, it offers direct entry into a range of undergraduate programmes in UL, LIT, MIC and IT Tralee.

The programme is being funded by both the Labour Market Activation Initiative and the Back to Education Initiative. Therefore priority for places will go to applicants who are currently unemployed (at least 3 months) and who have not yet achieved a Level 5 (e.g. Leaving Certificate or equivalent) qualification.
